I’m happy to say that my book has been reviewed (favorably) by New Mexico WOMAN Magazine, January 2008.

Reviewer, Michelle Miller Allen wrote:

“Working with the archetypal moment of epiphany or spiritual awakening, Lucy’s very accessible narrative is an encouraging guide book for ‘the realignment process’, or taking conscious control of your destiny.  Engaging writing makes refreshingly candid use of her own personal experience and work with mentors to help others find their spiritual voice and life gifts.”

A happy new year to all my clients and friends!  I attended a new year’s breathing retreat in Sandia Park with The Reluctant Healer, David Elliott.  I had the honour of coaching one of the other attendees and realised the strength of my abilities as an energy coach.  Please go to my new blog to read more about how I see this manifesting in the world and in my business.

Why am I a member of the International Coach Federation?

The International Coach Federation is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches. The ICF currently has more than 11,000 members in over 80 countries.

The ICF has become a leader in the industry by establishing an independent credentialing program that now offers coaching credentials that are recognized worldwide. ICF members also agree to a Code of Ethics that adds professionalism to the industry.  ICF is well-known for its commitment to raising the professional standards of coaching.  Clients want to know that their coach is professionally affiliated with a respected organization.  Coaches want to be able to cite the ICF code of conduct as their professional code of ethics.

Last week I went on a week-long house-building trip for charity to Mexico.

Several adults went along as well as roughly seventy teenagers from Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Together we built four timber frame and stucco houses for as many families who had been living in shanties made of chipboard and tin without windows.

The sense of community of the beauty of selflessness when a gift is given unconditionally was really brought home to me when at the end of the five days the house keys were handed over to the families.

How does it feel when you give conditionally?

I challenge you to give unconditionally to someone today. Read the rest of this entry »
